Contains a full mailbox that is not tied to a user account but has all the same features. Full mailbox access is granted by IT to specific accounts. Can create folders, rules, out of office messages etc. Shows up as a separate mailbox in the left pane in Outlook below your staff account. In Outlook for the web, a shared mailbox has to be accessed by selecting your icon at the top right of the window pane and selecting "Open another mailbox".
